How does central heating work?

The boiler will use gas to heat up the water.
An electric pump in the boiler is responsible for moving the heated water around your radiators and to your hot water tank if you have one.
As the water flows through the central heating radiators, some of the heat will be used to warm up your home.
The hot water is also shared with your taps and shower heads.
A thermostat will be in charge of monitoring the temperature and will switch the gas-powered system off when it reaches the desired temperature.
